Most of us have experienced some form of rejection in our childhood, particularly in the earliest, critical stages of development. Many find it difficult to know the difference between rejection and abandonment. Often what follows an experience of abandonment is fear of rejection that often creates patterns around avoidance, self-criticism, shame and self-sabotage in relationships. You are not alone in fearing rejection, it is part of the human condition and when you hold this wound, you not only feel it within your whole being but it is also connected to your right to exist.
When we create avoidance strategies as a form of protection, rejection becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. It can create defence mechanisms that create us to withdraw from relationships and have difficulty showing, expressing or allowing any level of vulnerability to be felt or experienced which limits our capacity to receive. This heightened fear of rejection blurs our boundaries in relationship.
During this guided healing meditation, you will be supported to release stored energies and unconscious beliefs around fear of rejection, self-criticism and self-rejection, rebalance the nervous system and foster self-compassion, self awareness and self acceptance, ultimately opening you to experience deeper intimacy and connection with self and in your relationships.
